PQ Electrical & Air ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you request a quote, book online, or contact us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property address, and details about the electrical work you need. If you call us, we collect the information you choose to share. We do not collect sensitive information.
How we collect it
Directly from you, through our online booking/quote form (provided by Jobber), by phone, or by email. We also collect limited technical and usage data automatically through cookies and analytics tools (see below).
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and schedule and carry out work
- To contact you about your job, including reminders and follow-ups
- To issue invoices and certificates of compliance
- To improve our website and services
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and third-party analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. These may include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity. Analytics and advertising cookies only load after you consent via our cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2). You can change your choice at any time, or block cookies in your browser.
Third parties we share with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, including Jobber (booking, scheduling and CRM), and the analytics providers above. We do not sell your personal information. Providers may store data outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled securely.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Access & correction
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
