People call it a few different things. Split system installation, aircon installation, air con install, or just getting a split system installer out to supply and install. Same job. A head unit on the wall inside, a condenser outside, connected and commissioned properly so it actually cools the room and does not cost a fortune to run.
Wall-mounted split systems only. We do not do ducted, and we do not do multi-head systems. That is a licensing and scope boundary, not a preference, so we would rather tell you up front than waste your time.
Sizing and placement matter more than brand
An undersized unit runs flat out and never gets the room cool. An oversized one cycles on and off, does not dehumidify properly, and wears out sooner. Before we recommend anything we look at the room size, ceiling height, insulation and which way the windows face, not just whatever is on special at the hardware shop.
Placement matters too. The indoor head needs to throw air across the room without blowing straight on you. The outdoor condenser needs clearance and airflow, and ideally is not baking in the western sun all afternoon.
What a split system install involves
A straightforward supply and install is usually a one-day job. We supply and install split systems from reputable brands, or install a unit you have already bought. Every install includes:
- Electrical supply from your switchboard to the indoor and outdoor units
- Refrigerant line-set run and insulation
- Drain line to a compliant outlet point
- Mounting the wall bracket and the head unit, and setting the condenser
- Full test and commission
- Electrical compliance certificate on completion
Installers in Queensland must hold both an electrical licence and an ARCtick refrigerant handling licence. We hold both, so the air con install and the electrical side get done by the one crew on the one visit.

Common questions
Do you do ducted or multi-head? No. Wall-mounted split systems only. If you need ducted or a multi-head setup, we are not the right crew for it and we will say so rather than take the job on.
Do I need to buy the unit myself? Either way works. We can supply and install, or install a unit you have already bought. Just check the model with us first, some cheaper imported units are not worth the labour to hang.
Do you handle the aircon install itself, or just the wiring? Both. We are a licensed sparky and a split system installer, so the whole job is ours: hang the indoor head, set the outdoor condenser, run and insulate the line-set, sort the drain to a compliant outlet, then test and commission.
How long does it take? A standard back-to-back install is usually a one-day job. A longer pipe run, a high wall or upper-storey access can add time, and we will tell you when we quote.
